Kokoda bound
Queensland based driver, steward and father of 4, Richard "Richo" Mapp is off to take on the Kokoda trail.
Richard has been charging head on with the training and fitness to take on the challenge all to raise money for "Mates in Construction" suicide prevention in the construction industry .
Richard said "I am looking forward to completing the 96 klm trek in 6 to 7 days. it was not something that I had on my bucket list but when the opportunity arose to take part in this and help raise money and suicide awareness for Mates in Construction I jumped at the chance".
Richo heads off at 7.30am Friday the 7th Sept to follow in the foot step of our brave soldiers that died defending New Guinea during WW2.
